Jefferson East, Inc. is a 501(c)3  that works to foster new development within the east Jefferson corridor from downtown Detroit to Alter Road.  Focused on key development nodes, including Historic Jefferson-Chalmers, the Marina District, The Villages, Rivertown and Lafayette Park, JEI seeks to attract new businesses and link existing business to economic development resources.  Invest Jefferson also works to identify and overcome barriers to small business development and increase employment opportunities for area residents.
